Sentry integration
StackStitch brings your Sentry issues and alerts into one unified, real-time notification feed alongside Slack, GitHub, Jira, and Notion — so you can triage what's breaking without living in the Sentry dashboard.
What you get
StackStitch turns these Sentry signals into notifications:
| Sentry signal | Notification in StackStitch |
|---|---|
| New issue | "New error in <project>: <title>" |
| Issue assigned | "Issue assigned to <assignee>: <title>" |
| Regression | "Regression: <title> is back" |
| Escalating | "Escalating: <title>" |
| Alert rule fired | "Alert '<rule>' fired" |
Resolved/archived issues and the raw error firehose are intentionally excluded to keep the feed signal-dense.
Permissions & data handling
- Read-only. StackStitch reads your issues and alerts; it never modifies Sentry data.
- On connect, StackStitch backfills your organization's unresolved issues, then stays in sync via Sentry webhooks (real-time).
- Access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Install is per user, per Sentry organization.
Setup
- In StackStitch, open Settings → Connectors → Sentry and choose Connect Sentry.
- Authorize the StackStitch Connector for your Sentry organization.
- Your Sentry issues and alerts begin surfacing in StackStitch immediately.
Disconnecting
Settings → Connectors → Sentry → Disconnect. Uninstalling the integration from Sentry also revokes the connection.
